Wood Block and Lab Glass Vases : Style #5
These one of a kind vases are lovingly made by hand in Buxton, Maine using reclaimed Western Red Cedar that was once used as power line poles, and clean vintage lab glass found at a local salvage yard. Each piece differs in the characteristics of the wood and glass. We love saving the old and making it new again! Vases are shown with flowers, but do not come with fresh flowers.
Thank you for supporting us in this endeavor.
Style #5 Measurements:
Wood Block: Approximately 4”x4”x3”
Glass Tubes: 3” tall with 1/2” wide opening
Approximate Total Height: 5 and 1/2”
Caring for your new vase:
To clean the wood block, simply wipe clean with a slightly damp cloth and once a year or when the wood appears very dry, rub some non-toxic wood oil into the surface. We suggest Heritage Natural Finishes Original Finish.
To clean your lab glass, remove tubes carefully and wash by hand with warm soapy water. If you have a tool for cleaning reusable drinking straws, that is a great option for removing any stuck debris.
